Desktop app

A social media automation desktop app for every account you run

The desktop app runs campaigns on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X and Reddit from your own computer. Every account gets its own browser profile, its own proxy and its own fingerprint, and the same flow can also send texts and drive real Android phones.

Overview

Your accounts, your computer, your IPs

Some teams want their accounts to run on hardware they control: their own machine, their own residential or mobile proxies, sessions that never leave the building. The desktop app is built for that. Each browser profile is its own Chrome user-data folder with a stored fingerprint and a dedicated proxy, so cookies and sign-ins persist per account and no two accounts look like the same device.

Campaigns use the same visual flow you already know: steps for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X and Reddit, plus waits, conditions, A/B splits, AI personalisation and webhooks. Press start and the built-in engine runs each step in the right profile’s browser, with human mouse paths and typing, per-account limits and automatic pauses.

Browser profiles

One profile per account, and the proxy is checked before it opens

Every profile launches in its own Chrome with its own proxy, HTTP or SOCKS5, IPv4 or IPv6. Before the window opens, the proxy is tested through itself: exit IP, location, timezone and latency. If the proxy doesn’t work, the browser doesn’t open, so your real IP never leaks.

The fingerprint follows the proxy: user agent and client hints, timezone, language and geolocation match the exit IP, and hardware, screen, WebGL, canvas and audio values stay stable per profile. A built-in fingerprint check compares what a site sees with what the profile should be, and cookies import from EditThisCookie, AdsPower, Multilogin or a cookies.txt.

  • Own Chrome profile per account
  • HTTP & SOCKS5, IPv4 & IPv6 proxies
  • Proxy checked before every launch
  • Fingerprint matched to the exit IP
  • Proxy health checks and expiry alerts
  • Cookie import and export

Campaigns

Five networks, texts and phones in one flow

Draw a campaign with connect, follow, like, comment and message steps on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X and Reddit, then branch on “request accepted?”, “followed back?” or “replied?”. Each lead keeps the same sender per network, and every sender stays under its rolling 24-hour limits for requests, messages and engagement.

The same flow can add an SMS or iMessage step, or run steps from real Android phones next to the browser profiles. Text steps support variables, spintax, A/B variants with automatic winners, AI personalisation through any OpenRouter model and file attachments.

  • LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, Reddit
  • Conditions that re-check and wait
  • Sticky sender per lead and network
  • A/B variants with a winner at 95%
  • AI personalisation with a monthly budget
  • Webhooks to Zapier, Make, n8n or a CRM

Self-healing

When a site changes its buttons, campaigns keep running

Social networks change their markup all the time, and that’s what usually breaks automation. Every element a step needs has several backup selectors. When the first one stops matching and a backup takes over, the target is flagged On backup before anything fails. If none match, you open the page, click the element, and the picker saves new selectors without any code.

Platform warnings are read after every action. “Try again later” pauses that kind of action on that account; “action blocked” or a checkpoint pauses the whole account, for 12 to 24 hours and longer on repeat strikes. The Reports page shows success rates, each error with a screenshot and what to do, pauses per account and selector health.

  • Several selectors per element
  • Click-to-fix selector picker
  • Auto-pause on platform warnings
  • Escalating pauses on repeat strikes
  • Screenshots of every failure
  • Built-in MCP server for Claude

Attachments

DM steps send images, video, PDFs and audio files from the conversation’s own upload.

Sign-in codes

Codes texted to a paired phone or Mac are typed into a profile’s checkpoint automatically.

MCP server

Let Claude watch campaigns, investigate errors, fix selectors and re-run leads while campaigns run.

FAQ

Social media automation desktop app: questions and answers

Something else on your mind? Get started and try it on your own accounts.

Which operating systems does the desktop app support?

macOS, Windows and Linux. It uses a Chromium browser you already have installed: Chrome, Chromium, Edge, Brave, Vivaldi, Opera and others.

Do I need the desktop app to use ReachPods?

No. The cloud platform runs LinkedIn, email, WhatsApp, Instagram and Telegram without anything installed. The desktop app is for teams who want accounts on their own computer and proxies, more networks, texts, or real phones.

Does my computer need to stay on?

Yes, while desktop campaigns run. Browsers the engine opened close again after 10 idle minutes.

Is it undetectable?

No tool is. Platforms judge behaviour and volume first, so the app keeps conservative per-account limits, human timing and automatic pauses, and matches each fingerprint to its proxy.

What happens when LinkedIn or Instagram changes its layout?

Backup selectors usually take over and the element is flagged before anything fails. If every selector misses, you fix it by clicking the element in the picker, no update needed.
