Tasks

Tasks and reminders so nothing falls through the cracks

Automation handles the sending; people still have to call, reply by hand and prep. Tasks give every teammate one queue of to-dos, calls and reminders — created manually or dropped in by a campaign step — so the human parts of outreach actually get done.

Overview

The manual work, kept on the rails

Not every step of a deal can be automated. Someone has to make the call, send the custom proposal, reply to the tricky question, prep for the meeting. Those are exactly the steps that get forgotten, because they live in someone’s head instead of the tool doing the sending.

Tasks put them in the same place as everything else. A task is a to-do, a call, an email, a LinkedIn action or a reminder, with a due date and an owner. It can be created by hand from the inbox or a lead’s page, or dropped into a queue by a campaign step — and the whole team can see what’s due, what’s overdue and what’s done.

The queue

One list of what to do next

Every task for the workspace lives in one place, filterable by what’s due today, by type, by owner or by what’s overdue. Open a task, see the lead and the conversation behind it, do the work, and check it off. Snooze a reminder and it comes back when you asked.

Tasks are assigned to a teammate, so a shared workspace doesn’t turn into a free-for-all — each person opens their own list and knows exactly what’s theirs. Calls, to-dos, emails and LinkedIn actions each get their own icon so the queue is readable at a glance.

In sequences

Manual steps inside an automated sequence

A campaign can mix automated messages with manual task and call steps. When the sequence reaches one, it creates a task for the right teammate instead of sending something — perfect for a personal call after two auto-messages, or a human review before a high-stakes send.

A step task can hold its lead: the sequence waits until the task is closed before moving on, so the lead never gets the next automated message before the human step is done. Close the task and the sequence resumes on schedule.

See what’s due, overdue and done

Live counters show how many tasks are due today, how many are overdue, and how many the team has completed this week — so a manager can spot a backlog before it becomes a dropped deal, and a rep can clear their day with a clear target.

Because tasks sit alongside the pipeline and the unified inbox, the manual follow-ups stay tied to the opportunity and the conversation they belong to — no second to-do app, no copy-paste.

How it works

Sales tasks and reminders: how it works in four steps

  1. 1

    Create a task

By hand from the inbox or a lead, or let a campaign task/call step create it.

  2. 2

Assign and set a due date

Give it to a teammate with a due time; add a reminder if you need a nudge.

  3. 3

    Work your queue

Open each task with its lead and thread, do the work, check it off or snooze.

  4. 4

    Keep the sequence moving

Closing a step task resumes the lead’s sequence automatically.
