Instagram outreach automation
Instagram outreach automation: follow, like, comment, then DM
Instagram outreach works when it doesn’t start with a DM. ReachPods follows the account, likes and comments on their latest post, then sends a personal DM with text, files or a voice note, inside conservative daily limits, while your own feed and stories stay active on schedule.

Overview
Why Instagram outreach needs a warm-up
For creators, brands, e-commerce, hospitality and local services, Instagram is where business happens. But a cold DM from an account they’ve never seen lands in message requests and stays there. A DM from someone who already follows them, liked their post and left a genuine comment gets read.
ReachPods gives you four Instagram steps for the campaign builder: follow account (a follow request if the account is private), like last post, comment last post (written by you or by AI) and send DM with text, files or a voice note. Chain them over a few days and your DM arrives from a familiar name.
Instagram is strict about volume, so the defaults keep each account under 100 actions a day in total: 35 DMs, 25 follows, 25 likes and 10 comments, with random 60 to 180 second gaps and working hours. Fill the top of the funnel by importing your followers, and keep your account looking alive with the post and story scheduler.
Instagram features
Every Instagram outreach automation feature
Each step of the Instagram playbook, from the first follow to the scheduled story, has its own page.
DM automation
Send Instagram DMs that mention each prospect’s name, brand and latest post, with a voice note or file attached, from accounts they already noticed. ReachPods paces every DM inside safe daily limits, shows when it’s seen and stops the moment they reply.
Learn moreAuto follow & like
Follow the specific accounts you want to work with and like their latest post, a day or two before you DM them. Private accounts get a follow request, every action is paced like a person, and daily limits keep the account safe.
Learn moreComment automation
Comment on each prospect’s latest Instagram post with something specific: a detail from the caption, a genuine question. The AI reads the post and the comments already on it, avoids repeating them, never pitches and skips posts that are too old.
Learn morePost & story scheduler
Every account you follow, like and DM will check your profile. Schedule feed posts and stories with captions and media, publish them across several Instagram accounts spread over time, and let ReachPods post on time in the background.
Learn moreFollower extraction
Your followers chose to see your content. Import the followers of any connected Instagram account into a clean lead list, or upload usernames from a CSV, and reach them with a warm sequence that likes, comments and sends a personal DM.
Learn moreThe Instagram sequence
Follow, like and comment before the Instagram DM
A proven Instagram sequence: follow on day one, like the latest post on day two, comment on day three, DM on day four. Every action shows up in their notifications with your name and profile picture, so the DM comes from someone they already noticed.

Instagram outreach automation: questions and answers

What is Instagram outreach automation?
It’s software that performs Instagram prospecting actions for you, such as following accounts, liking and commenting on their posts and sending DMs, on a schedule and within safe limits.
How many Instagram actions are safe per day?
The defaults keep each Instagram account under 100 actions a day in total: 35 DMs, 25 follows, 25 likes and 10 comments. You can lower them per account.
Can I DM people who don’t follow me?
Yes, though DMs from accounts they don’t know may land in message requests. Following, liking and commenting first makes the DM far more likely to be read.
Does it work with private accounts?
The follow step sends a follow request to private accounts, the same as a person would.
Can I send voice notes on Instagram?
Yes. Attach a recording or use an AI voice note in your cloned voice.
Do Instagram replies stop the rest of the sequence?
Yes. A reply on any channel stops the lead’s sequence on every channel.
Other channels
Outreach automation on every channel
Combine channels in one campaign; a reply on any of them stops the rest.

Comments
Instagram comments that react to the actual post
Comment steps can use smart AI comments: the AI reads the latest post and the comments already on it, then writes one or two sentences about something specific, without pitching or repeating what others said. Set a maximum post age so you never revive an old post. See Instagram comment automation.

The part about deleting the kickoff call is underrated. Did activation hold up once the call was gone?
